I went through some of the comments on this article. Almost all comments written by christian were against Prince Chartes interest in islamic , not even conversion. I really believe almost many of todays conflicts come out of ignorance. We only know what media say, but I bet if you make a survey how many christians actually read quran you will find few and how many moslems read the bible or Towrah will also be few

How most islamic countries live or are ruled is not an indication at all of islam , as a matter of fact ,all these countries are much behind other notions because they are not practicing their religion, and I am not speaking of how women should be dressed or how prayers should be done . This is not the core of islam

Just for example: as a moslem you should never cheat anybody moslem or non-moslem, you should not sell bad merchandise , when you know there is a default in it without informing the buyer; however, many merchants do not do that

In islam, if you do your job , you should do it as perfect as you know how to do --this is not the case in real life

You should seek knowledge, wherever it is, this is actually considered a contribution to your religion to seek knowledge

YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO RULE PEOPLE,IMPOSE YOUR OWN IDEAS ON THEM. At the time of Prophet Mohamed, there was shora, meaning, even the prophet will consult people around him what should be done in peace and war time. If the prophet consult people , then others should. Islamic countries just after his death, was not rules by the prophet's descendants, so it was not a monarchy

So at the end, it is really lack of knowledge that makes people thing that islam is represented by Osama bin Laden or others like him. If anybody read islam he will know this reality
