Unluckily knowledge of Syriac not Hebrew in so important in understanding what the Qur'an really says

If you are interested in reading the Peshitta with linear translation to English check Dukhrana.com

>As for the Qur'an, I'll trust that Yusuf Ali,

Yusuf Ali translation is the worst translation He was a liar and he had no shame I understand that the Saudis wanted his translation to be edited But it is really bad and beyond fixing

>Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall,

It is a better translation Not perfect

The truth is we don't have a good translation of the Qur'an and always ask which Qur'an is being translated? Mushaf Othman which is not extant or is it the 1923-1924 Cairo Quran or the 1959 Tunisian Quran and yes they are different

So what should you read? The old fashioned way get an Arabic copy of the Cairo Quran a good Arabic dictionary and decide for your self what the Qur'an really says and BTW even Muslims and their Mufasereen have no clue what the Qur'an really says

As for Prince Charles He is a strange dude!
