The Prince = Hypocrite

Reader comment on item: Is Prince Charles a Convert to Islam?

Submitted by Joe (USA) (United States), Feb 9, 2006 at 02:07

I guess the newest phase for the enlightenment is to return to the barbaric tunnel vision of fundamentalist thought. Islam is the epitome of all that is illogical and contra-enlightenment. The prince, it seems, along with all the other "enlightened" rulers of Europe are succumbing to the power and all the barbarity that it is. In their absolute quest to be enlightened, democratic, tolerant, and all-inclusive; by pushing so far to the liberal extreme, that they are actually entering into, or at least aiding, the ultra-conservative views of Islam.

By encouraging Islamism and similar evil, instead of becoming more liberal and democratic, the Prince is becoming less and less so. Who cares if the Muslims believe in "a sense of community"--sure, the all repressive, extremely defensive, militant ummah. They're like the scary kids in high school, that no one talks to, so they become frustrated and beligerant. As for tolerant and preaching of humanity, where outside of their community have they ever taught this? Surely even the zhimmis are not treated equally in Palestine or Egypt or Saudi Arabia or anyone else. Lets stop kidding ourselves.
