in response to reader comment: Say " No " to full European Union Membership to Islamic Turkey

Submitted by Octavio Johanson (Italy), Nov 7, 2006 at 17:05

I concur: ban Turkey from the European Union. I will never be ready to vote 'yes' to Turkish membership of the European Union. There are already 20 miilion Muslims living in the European Union. In a traditionally Catholic country like Italy, there are between 1 and 2 million Muslims, mainly from North Africa.

If Turkey enters the European Union, the total number of Muslims will raise to 95 millions. Considering that Protestants are about 92 millions, Muslims will become the second religious "denomination" in the European Union. With unrestricted immigration from Muslims countries and a thriving birth-rate, Muslims will soon pass the 100 million mark and establish themselves as the fastest growing religion in the European Union. Consider that Turks who live in Germany tend to be more Islamic than people in Turkey; North-Afrcans who live in the European Union tend to be more Islamic than people in North Africa, and the second generation are more radical than their parents. Turkey + Muslim Immigration = Islamic Europe.

Don't worry Costas, I will never vote "yes" to Turkey's entrance in the European Union. The risks are too high. Unless we patrol our borders and deny Turkey entrance in the European Union, we will be conquered by Islamo-fascists. Spanish revolutionaries once shouted "No pasaran, no pasaran"! We can shout in English "THEY SHALL NOT PASS". Muslim immigration will be reduced and Turkey will not enter the European Union. Bar the way to Islamo-fascism.
