Consider the untethered cheering and public demonstrations on 9/12/01 in the Middle East. When they get the notion into their head that their efforts are not all doomed to failure or serious, deadly reprisal, nothing can embolden them more. If Iran succeeds in bombing Israel, we will all know that 9/11 was NOT the first blow in WW3. Islam on the march? Exactly!
