Reader comment on item: Decision Time on Iran

Submitted by JOHN MANITTA (United States), Nov 1, 2006 at 00:35

The attitude throughout most of America, when it comes to Iran, seems to be that if we ignore them they will go away . They do not want to deal with Iran because in their hearts they no there is no solution but War, ether now or after they have the bomb. The cost will be great, but the fact is, the cost will be greater if we wait. Iran also will pay a very heavy cost .They are betting we don't have the stones to take out their sites. When they get a taste of our AIRFORCE and NAVY they JUST MIGHT RETHINK THIER TOUGH TALK. Its like a bully who gets kicked in the stones, the fight just seems to leave him. I would rather THE RADICAL Muslims PROTEST our attacking IRAN , Then CELEBRATING the attack on THE U.S.A. This PRESIDENT has the toughest decision any PRESIDENT has ever had to make. We can show him we are with him by the way we vote. If we give control to his party in the house , that should be and indication how the people feel. As for world opinon , so be it , they hate us already.

It might force Europe to stand up for itself and get tough. Americans will cry about the cost of oil but we will learn to deal with it. THE PEOPLE OF THIS COUNTRY HAVE TO REMEMBER ALL WE HAD TO DEAL WITH TO GET THIS FAR. SUReLY WE DON' T WANT SOME RADICAL MISGUIDED IDIOT TELLING US HE WILL ERADICATE AMERICA OTHERS HAVE TRIED AND FAILED AND SO WILL THEY. All the NATIONS that want their freedoms are waiting to see how we handle this S.O.B. I say WE SHOW THEM THE WAY.... GOD BLESS AMERICA......CAPTAIN AMERICA.
