False flag op needed.

Reader comment on item: Decision Time on Iran

Submitted by Sgt. Slaughter (United States), Nov 1, 2006 at 14:45

It's not up to Bush, he's just a common thug ala Saddam Hussein. It's up to the shadow players who can falsify an attack serious enough to catalyze most Americans into hatred of Iran.

Maybe a major missile attack on Tel Aviv with "weapons made by Iran?" Maybe a catastrophic "suicide bombing" on U.S. marines in Baghdad? Think Beirut 1983.

The American people need to be reminded that Iran is a terrorist regime. People have amnesia, they don't remember 1979. They probably don't remember the Lebanon war earlier this year.

They could attack without a false flag pretext, but that might seem strange and come with unintended consequences: the U.S. puppets in the region aren't exactly the most stable regimes around.
