Reader comment on item: Decision Time on Iran

Submitted by Alex (United States), Oct 31, 2006 at 14:45

This article is a breath of fresh air in a world where people seem to view any conceivable costs that could be incurred in a war as too high. The US is now in the unbelievably dismal and utilitarian position of having to choose, on the one hand--if we attack Iran now, between losing thousands of soldiers in Iraq, instability and insanely high oil prices in the Persian Gulf, and the near-total destruction of Israel by Iranian and Syrian chemical and biological missiles already in place; and, on the other hand--if we don't attack Iran soon, having to incur all the previously-noted costs, with the destruction of many of our own cities added on.
