Let Mahmoud be Mahmoud

Reader comment on item: Decision Time on Iran

Submitted by Octavio Johanson (Italy), Nov 6, 2006 at 05:30

Unless it becomes unavoidable, we should try to avoid a confrontation with Teheran. Let Mahmoud be Mahmoud. The mad Mullahs of Therean will always try to provoke the West. As long as Iranians and Muslims don't come to Europe, I am happy to do what they prefer in their own countries. Of course, from your article, Dr. Pipes, it seems that a confrontation with Teheran IS unavoidable. However, I still think that Muslims can do what they like in their own countires, and I can do what I want in mine. Each to their own.
