Reader comment on item: Decision Time on Iran
in response to reader comment: Who's being non-inclusive?

If I understand you correctly, you are saying that despite George Bush's own fervent evangelical beliefs in the Apocalypse, Armageddon, Gog and Magog, Jesus' Second Coming, the tribulation, the anti-christ, the mark of the 666 beast, and all the rest of that nutty stuff, I have nothing to fear from George Bush being in control of a nuclear arsenal. OK. I won't fear.

But my point was that if George Bush can believe those kinds of religious fantasies, why can't the leader of Iran have his own religious fantasies without being demonized for them? That's all I asked.

Or, as it has been suggested by others, maybe this demonization is a well planned campaign to make the leader of Iran look crazy so that George Bush can launch another war in the mideast against a country that is of no threat to us (but has plenty of oil ! ) , while we cozy up to Pakistan which is the most dangerous terrorist country in the World, the country that is selling nuclear bomb plans to anyone who will buy them, who hides Bin Laden, and who provided the leadership and funding for 9/11. Hmmmm?
