Akmadinejad and the hidden Imam

Reader comment on item: Decision Time on Iran
in response to reader comment: Akmadinejad and the hidden Imam

Dear Infidel,

I assure you my tolerance for those with religious beliefs of one kind of another is great. So much so that it is the basis of my assertion that, in light of the President's own eschatological weltanschauung, it is hypocritical and possibly dangerous to criticize Akmadinejad's religious beliefs, especially in the context of implying that they will be the catalyst for a conflagration in the Middle East, and especially if they would ever be seriously considered as a rationale for a pre-emptive attack against Iran.

There may be good reasons to attack Iran (doomed as that catastrophe would be), but the Hidden Imam isn't one of them.
