I agree with your historical facts except for one major disconnect: there is zero evidence that the current day so called 'Palestinians', i.e. those inhabitants of Israel over the past 60 years, have even a remote connection to the Philistines or any peoples mentioned in the bible. The fact is that Palestine was considered to be Israel proper (thanks to the Romans who changed the name to insult the Jews) and the name 'Palestinians' was not used to describe arabs until after the 1967 war, when they miraculously appeared out of Gazan Egyptians and Jordanian West Bankers. They are an artificially created entity solely for political motives by the Arab league and the then USSR to counter the presence of the US in it's alliance with Israel.
