Mike, you can't be serious!

Reader comment on item: Not Stealing Palestine but Purchasing Israel
in response to reader comment: they purchased ALL the land??

May I ask you dear Mike where are you taking your "information" from? Your "data" are so divorced from reality that I don't recall hearing them even from the most unscrupulous, lie-full Arab propaganda sources. "It would have been impossible to have purchased the entire sea coast, the Negev, and the Galilee"

Really?? The Jews purchased vast lands even in the Eastern Palestine (today Jordan) and they were robbed from them by a simple British administrative operation: assignment of Eastern Palestine to the Hashemite Bedouin tribe. Those lands you are talking about were purchased from Arab landlords before WWI, before the British mandate and also during it. All of them.

And the founding of the Jewish State was made possible not due to the "mighty British army" but in spite of it. During WWII and after, the Brits ordered stopping of virtually all Jewish immigration to Palestine(when it was most painfully needed) while undisturbed massive Arab immigration was continuing. The State of Israel was, and is made possible due to Jewish determination, dedication, and commitment.
