Hello Jaladhi,

God has a promise that He will surely punish wrong-doers and reward the righteous.

Promise of God is true and so is the Day of Judgment. However to remind people about this day and His promise, God sends Rasool from time to time, who implement the judgment of God on earth (land). By judging a set of people on earth, God reminds the rest of people about the final day of Judgment.

These murderous verses represent God's Wrath on the wrong-doers. They are justified and moral, because, if God would not send Rasool and judge people on earth, then at the Day of Judgment, we would have excuse that we did not know this day, so we were careless and carefree.

Read this verse, the purpose why Rasool comes,

So that people are left with no excuse or plea before God after the arrival of Rasools

(Quran 4:165)

I hope you can understand my point.
