Hello Jalahdi,

I have explained the difference between a lay man and Rasool to Plato. Most of you don't know this difference that's why there is so much confusion.

Let me tell you in simple words.

There is a one day, which is yet to be come, when God will judge all the mankind, this day is called Day of Judgment or Last Day.

However, God did not leave all the mankind to wait such a long time and forget about this day finally. So He shows the glimpses of this day from time to time by sending His representative called Rasool to remind the people that this day will surely come when righteous will be rewarded and wrongdoer will be humiliated and punished.

When Rasool comes, he proclaims to everyone that I am Rasool of God; God has sent me toward you with a warning and glad tiding. So he warns the people that if they will reject and fight against the guidance revealed to me by God, they will be punished and humiliated not only in Hereafter but right here on earth, and he also delivers a glad tiding that if they will follow the guidance, they will not be rewarded in the Hereafter, but also on this earth.

So when Muhammad (sws) came, he did the same thing. He warned them and gave them glad tiding. So same thing happed, rejecters and enemies of God were humiliated, punished and killed, and believers were rewarded with prosperity.

Thank you
