Hello Plato,

Pagans of Makah violated the treaty by assisting one of its ally tribes in attacking and killing the members of one of ally tribes of Muslims.

This verse points to that context

Will you not fight a people who broke their oaths and purposed to expel the Messenger, and it is they who made the beginning against you first time? Are you afraid of them? But God has a greater right to be afraid of, if you are Believers.(9:13)

However, as you said, Islam does not ask Muslims to break the covenant with those who did not violate it. Please read this verse.

but those of the idolaters with whom you made covenant, then they did not fail you at all, and did not support any against you, fulfil their covenant with them till their term; surely God loves the godfearing.(9:4)

You know better that you are kafir or not. I have no way to tell that you are kafir. Because kufr (the thing that makes the person kafir) is a matter of heart. You are kafir, if it is apparent to you that Islam is true religion but still you deny it outwardly because of your self-motives, obstinacy, hatred or enmity or arrogance etc.

But if there is no such case, then you are just a non-Muslim who have not yet understood Islam.

Rasool is commanded by Allah to kill or punish all those who are Kafirs. As I said, Allah judges people through their intentions, Kafirs are people who are wrong in their intentions and deserve punishment.

Since, I am not Rasool, I cannot do Itmam-e-Hujja on you. Only Rasool does it and that too with power of Allah.

Rasool was not intolerant toward other faiths. Muslims were not allowed to fight against pagans or even name call them during Maccan period because Itmam-e-Hujja was unaccomplished. They were ordered to fight against them later. Itmam-e-Hujja was accomplished after the fall of Macca when pagans of Macca were fully convinced that Muhammad (sws) was true and no one can defeat his mission. Fall of Macca was also an Itmam-e-Hujja for other Arab tribes. And fall of all Arab was Itmam-e-Hujja for Kings outside Arabia.

Hopefully, you can understand Islamic viewpoint.

Regards

Shakeel
