Dear Daniel Pipes,

1. Because of the mechanism of deep seated religious conditioning (which is not rational) even the moderate Muslims will easily revert to their inherently violent roots. You err because you have overlooked (not factored in) this mechanism.

2. The moderate Muslims will never rise up to overthrow the militants anymore than a flock of sheep will rise up to kill a pack of wolves. Worse yet, the moderates are in collusion with the militants.

3. There will be no significant assistance from the moderate Muslims and this status quo will remain a constant. The moderates play us for gullible fools as they penetrate our security and exploit our resources, such is the way of Islam.

4. The only truly reliable Muslims are those that have renounced (left) Islam. For example, Ali Sina at www.faithfreedom.org tells the truth about Islams inherently malignant nature. Any Muslim who has studied the Koran a little and the biography of Mohammed and still remains a Muslim is a hopeless case. Blind dogma is impossible to eradicate except in miniscule numbers.

5. You are a rational, honest and just person, and are blinded to think that the moderate Muslims will be influenced by rational thinking. Islam is not rational, honest or equitable, and reason cannot defeat dogma. This is where you error.

6. We need to face the facts -- the moderate Muslims are on the side of Islam not America. Please think deeply on this.
