Hmmm, where to start with your post?? First and foremost i am neither a Republican nor a Democrat, but a registered Independent, I have this strange habit of forming my own opinions instead of talking the "party line".

Now as for Bush raising troop level "for no reason" ,according to reports this has dropped the level of violence by about a third in the two months since it has been implemented, which alone seems like a valid reason to finish the troop surge.

Secondly, for every negative act of christianity that you can name i can counter with one fostered on us by "the religion of peace", the difference being that most of the troubles brought on the world by christians and so called christians happened very long ago ( ie centuries ) while the muslim acts occur EVERY DAY!

As for Israel devastating a country in response to the kidnapping of their soldiers, i say more power to them! What do you expect them to do, just sit back and let their citizens get kidnapped in the middle of their country guarding a checkpoint, then wring their hands and beg the terrorists to return them unharmed?
