RE:For our dear Shakeel and his poor translationReader comment on item: Bolstering Moderate Muslims Submitted by shakeel (Pakistan), May 11, 2007 at 13:56 Dear dhmmi, Although, I don't understand Quran in Arabic completely, but since I have read translations of Quran and also my language Urdu has lots of Arabic words, I make of Quranic verses easily in a range 30-70 %, when I hear their recitation in the morning, sunset and night prayer. Second thing, you are claiming and have claimed before that Quran is for Arabs. But this amazes me when you (supposedly some Arab and non-Muslim) says it, who understands Arabic lot better than me. If you read the last Surah, it says Qul Aooz bi Rabin Nass Say, I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind And you will also see at lot of places in Quran. O mankind, O mankind, O mankind My point is Quran never says, O Arabs, O Arabs, instead it says, O mankind, O mankind. I hope you get my point Thank you Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
