I want a proportional response. Somebody kidnaps 2 soldiers, you dont start a war, you talk it out, or you take two of their people. Or 4. or 8. But starting a war in which thousands, yes thousands of innocent Lebanese (Christians and Muslims) died, is inconscionable and reckless at least, maniacal and twisted at worst.

The Arabs have nothing left to do to get their land back. I am in no way condoning the tactics of suicide bombings or attacks on civilians, however, they see no recourse. They live their lives with no hope of anything more than a simple job, with no guarantee that their children are safe, and the only way they see to escape that atrocious reality is to do something drastic. I condemn it and you condemn it but we dont see that the enviroment that these people live in makes them suceptible to these types of ideas, which do not solve anything, but only perpetuate chaos.
