Hello dhimmi,

According to Islam, Jews and Christians are nothing but past Muslims who have turned away from right and true path which God gave to them.

By telling the stories of past Muslims (Jews and Christians), Quran gives the moral lesson to present Muslims (Muslims) that they should not do repeat those mistakes which past Muslims had been doing.

Second thing, I would request you to think about is that, without the light of God, we are no different than animals.

When section of past Muslims (Jews) disobeyed God consistently, they turned into animals not physically but spiritually, means, they were left with no moral values.
