Georgetown U Has a Dangerous Muslim Apologist

Reader comment on item: The Rot in Our [Canadian] Universities

Submitted by anthony mee (United States), Feb 14, 2003 at 23:16

Canada is definitely at the forefront of university censorship, but Georgetown U is quickly attempting to close that gap. Georgetown University has employed a very dangerous Islamic apologist by the name of Jane McAuliffe. McAuliffe (at that time employed by Univ of Toronto) helped to convict an innocent man in Canada in 1997 of a "hate" crime by testifying that there is, "..no proof in Islamic literature that Islam is a violent religion." (Hmm. who said, "Slay the inifdels wherever you find them?") What "hate" did this man commit? He dared to warn Canadians, via leaflets, about a coming wave of violent acts by Muslims based in Canada. For this he was arrested, jailed and later convicted and---get this--sentenced to hundreds of hours of Islamic indoctrination at the hands of a radical Islamic iman. McAuliffe is now employed at Georgetown University where she is infecting and twisting the minds of young Americans. I attempted to telephone her last year and ask her about the innocent Canadian man that she helped to convict with her testimony. Unfortunately, she hid behind her secretary who transfered me to the campus police department, I assume in an effort to frigthen me from ever attempting to question a Muslim apologist.
