Well said. Sadly, your comments regarding the "street toughs and academics' harks back, at least in my mind to the time in pre war Germany of the 1930's when Jews were expelled from the universities by the "academics" and the brown-shirted troops beat them up in the streets of major German cities.

It is indeed a shame that today's "academics" apparently remain unaware of this parallel behavior as displayed through their current antics.
