Political System and Geneva ConventionReader comment on item: Hijabs on Western Political Women Submitted by TruthWfree (United States), Jul 15, 2009 at 20:12 Dawud, Islam being a political system plus the violent verses are the problem with Islam from my point of view. We in the United States and you in your adopted country, the UK, have freedom of religion, and one is not discriminated against for what ever his faith is. This is not true in Islamic countries as non Muslims are discriminated against and Islamic history has been to tax kafirs (non Muslims) additionally and treat them as second class citizens. Non Muslim populations are small in Islamic countries not because of the attributes of your religion, but because of that discrimination against non Muslims (Turkey 99.8% Muslim, Saudi Arabia 100% Muslim, etc.), not mention the fact that Muslims are not allowed to leave Islam. If you believe in the violent verses, specifically 9-5 (slay the pagans) and 9-29 (fight people of the book), and you plot to act on those verses, then you are a traitor to the UK and your fellow UK citizens (as most are non Muslim), and you should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. You comment about Islamic law being superior to the Geneva Convention is rather hard for you to defend since Muhammad iniated the slaughter of captives by "smitting their necks" as is evident from current day Islamic terrorists who video tape the brutal muder of their captives by cutting off their heads. If you think this is superior to the Geneva Convention, then there is no way I can have a logical discussion with you. One should question why God (or Allah) would want a group of people to kill, subjugate, or hate another group of people as per Muhammad's teachings. Muhammad first thought he was possessed by a demon and his wife Khadija convinced him otherwise. The inconsistancy of and abrogation of earlier teachings in the Quran should cause one to ponder the truth of these teachings. He initially robbed caravans to finance his religion. Two of the Ten Commandments handed down to Moses by God were Thou Shall Not Kill and Thou Shall Not Steal, both of which were violated by Muhammad who claimed his revelations were from God.
