We are all human beings and there is more commonality amongst us then differences. It would be nice ... to promote harmony and respect for cultural pluralism and tolerance. In any community there are always people who like to bear on differences and make it sound like - I am better than you. We have to resist that impulse - it is not easy not to respond negatively when derided by the few vocal minority, but with patience and intelligent discourse the pessimists can be relegated to the peripheral.
