Reader comment on item: Hijabs on Western Political Women
in response to reader comment: Why do nun's wear Scarf (Hijab)?

Dear George,

If you look pictures and TV documentaries just at the begining of the 20th century (Iam not talking about previous centuries) you will see western women are wearing scarfs and wearing long dresses

If you look at costumes dressed by European women in the middle ages, you will find them wearing long dresses and scarfs like hijab on their heads. so it was common to dress Hijab among western women in early history.

Nun wear Hijab because they are religious women, but also because God commanded that they should wear Hijab,

All Muslim women who wear Hijab are religious women who abide by God's Commands,

Women as I know are not bothered of the heat or humidity, and women normally when at home, and among her family does not need to wear hijab. only in front of friends or strangers she has to wear hijab

search and look at costumes in early history, and see how women dressed

Does it make sense
