Very interesting observation Dr. Pipes. You are selecting an example of modernity in the Muslim world , the first lady of a country which is a sworn enemy of Israel. I guess Saddamist Iraq was also more modern looking and secular than current Malliki led Iraq.

Coming back to the Hizab question , my personal opinion is that it does not make an woman a better Muslima if she wears a Hizab as Allah only judges people based upon their deeds.
