Divine?

Reader comment on item: Obama, the Middle East and Islam - An Initial Assessment
in response to reader comment: The corrupted Qur'an and more evidence

Submitted by Ibn Khaldun (Canada), Apr 7, 2009 at 20:11

Who in his sanity can believe that ANY so-called sacred book is divine?? They are all man made, and all have been corrupted - by corrupt people whose aim was power grab. And there is NO exception!

In fact, it is quite easy to demonstrate, by straightforward arguments, that both Testaments and the Koran CANNOT be (i) divine (ii) unaltered.

That the concept of Allah is the same as the "God" of the Jews , that is surely consistent ... That concept of a supreme deity is in fact much older than Judaism.

Anyone who thinks otherwise may as well believe in Santa Claus and other fairy tales.
