Our dear keith the so called convert wrote

>Well said and that is kind of what I have been saying. Only that the rituals that we perform in our religions help us in attaining our personal relationship and closeness to God.

Hello: there is no Allah except in the mind of an Arabian warlrod and caravan raider and in the minds of people like you who want to be told which hand to use when eating and which hand to use when cleaning their rear ends and if there is really an Allah then he is a control freak

> I love Islam because I have five times throughout the day to focus on God

No you like Islam because you are not mature enough to realize that God or no God you still have to do the right thing

Now why do you have to pray five times or even one time every day? And why does your Allah need all that attention? does he have a fragile ego? Just imagine that Allah could have demanded (see qisat al-asra' wa al-mi3raj) that you pray 50 times per day let me see this woud have taken about 8 hours from your day and for what? for pleasing an insecure deity? may be you can waste 8 hours of your day (as I have established so far that you need to get a life) but most of us mortals have to work and sleep and raise our children and read a good book and stay away from reading the book of Arabian ignorance that shall remain unnamed and we do not need to please a deity called Allah in-order to be good parents and good citizens and good to humanity

>and everything that he does for us and all the wonderful blessings

Wonderful blessing? really? well let me take one example: how about the brutalization of your Hindu ancestors? and what did they do to your Allah to deserve such "blessings"?

>as well as thinking of all of the people in the world who don't have that and pray for them.

You pray for non Muslims? really? so where does it say in the Qur'an: ya ayuha al-muslimeen sallu li kul al-3alam wa sallu li ghayr al-muslimeen. You will never find it in the Qur'an but you will find the likes of the kill the that and fight the this.

But you know what? the Qur'an tell you that your Allah and his angels are busy praying to Muhammad and so are you by uttering this childish sala allahu 3alayhi wa salam you are also praying to Muhammad so is he a god too?

>Also for forgiveness and strength and guidance to continue the struggle. To each his own.

Gobbeldygook

>peace

really?
