Mr. Hashimi writes:

"First of all, because the Muslim world recognizes the many crimes committed against the Palestinian people does not also auto-imply they do not believe in peace. "

But, taking into account the constant battles, maimings, suicide bombings, murders etc etc from such varied Islamic areas as Darfur, Algeria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, the Phillipines Chechnya, Somalia , the Armenian genocide by Muslim Turks early in the 20th century, the Kosovo and Bosnian conflicts the arming of illegal militias by Iran etc we might infer that Muslims only want peace on their own terms.

"Do we now have to lie about history and the events that took place in the last century to reach an agreement of peace? That will never happen."

No of course we do not have to lie about history , nor should we. But neither should we need to be selective about reporting it to support our various prejudices. If you take it back far enough Arabs , invaded all areas of the Middle East and North Africa.

You don't mention that in your presentation of 'historical facts'.
