Problems in the Middle East

Reader comment on item: Obama, the Middle East and Islam - An Initial Assessment
in response to reader comment: Forgive me for my hardness!

1) Lebanon, like many other Middle Eastern nations, was a CHRISTIAN nation. It was ISLAM, not the Jews, who started a war there!

2) Most of the violence in Iraq and Afghanistan is Muslim on Muslim bloodshed. You have only yourselves to blame

3) Your leaders are too busy getting drunk and hooking up with prostitutes both foreign and domestic instead of doing something about Iran. There is no Islamic unity. Iran wants Jersualem, but they also want Mecca and Medina. You are a total fool if you think they are friends with the Arabs, who are only 20% of Islam worldwide.

So quit blaming Dick Cheney for your problems. If you all would just accept Jesus as your Saviour, as Cheney has, maybe these Middle Easterners would know joy and peace and not war as Saudi sheiks teach them.
