But ... I won't try to reason with you. Hopefully you have someone who loves you, who can get you ... to realize that the purpose of life is NOT destruction and death.

Here are some thoughts by a Chabad Rabbi after 9/11, in which he clearly states the root cause of the problem, which is in miplaced priorities. The end does justify the means, but only if the end is good.
