Response II to IanusReader comment on item: Shoeless George Bush[ Discusses Islam] Submitted by Carol Solfronk (United States), Jul 30, 2007 at 21:27 Sadly, I am afraid that our president does know what his actions are implying. If not, he is as stupid as some say he is. I still maintain that a Christain who is a true believer will not participate in anything that honors another god. The president could have met with these people on neutral ground. Our country is in grave danger and if I hadn't already read the back of the Book, I would be in a panic at this point. Perhaps letters or emails to the White House would at least let the president know how most of his past supporters feel about this. We seem to have a very weak and imcompetent government and I don't see anything better for the future. It would seem we have called our on doom down on ourselves and there is no way out. Keep working for change and trust in God. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
