Our dear Laila whose ancestors the Copts were and still are brutalized by Islam and who is a follower of deen al-irhab wa rab al-irhab wa rasul al-irhab wrote

>Arabic is my first language.

Wrong. Your first language is Egyptian Arabic and not modern classical Arabic right our dear Laila?

But wait the language of your ancestors is really Egyptian/Coptic and not even Egyptian Arabic

>I have to say Hamza Yusuf speaks Arabic VERY well.

Darling did you listen to him speaking Arabic? Let me guess you did not so why the delusions?

But again islam detaches people like Laila from the language of her ancestors the Copts (the language of Egypt or Coptic) and islam also detaches Hamza Yusuf from the language of his own ancestors and now they are both slaves of the Arabs and their language and culture

And darling no you are not an Arab you are Egyptian or did you forget?

> his pronunciation of the letters (especially the ones you mention above) are perfect.

Darling his pronunciation is poor and do you know why? because your accent in a foreign language is a function of the way you use vowels in your mother tongue this is why he will never have a perfect command of pronunciation of Arabic but again linguistics are beyond the Muslim mind

> I've never had a problem with understanding what he says.

Sure he can babble and the let us say he recites el-shahada and he will be understood because every Muslim will understand it even if he makes a fool of himself but his Arabic is not good and logic and linguistics are beyond the muslim mind.

>Only if your Arabic is not that strong will have problems understanding him.

darling I know Arabic and Arabic grammar much better then you imagine so stop your delusions

And hello: you think you understand his Arabic because what he says is usually sentences that any Arab or wannabe Arab like him can understand what do you think darling?

>And that is about his classical Arabic. I've also seen him speak in several local tongues as well (Egyptian, Saudi....)

He speakes Egyptian Arabic? sohaballah I do not believe you and you are making things up and shame on you

Shame on him as he is now a follower of deen al-irhab wa rasul al-irhab wa rab al-irhab just like you

I urge you to leave islam and be free again
