Chris,

Did you check the website I pointed to? It's ex-Muslims using Ibn Kathir. I assume they know more about Islam than I do. I am not a scholar of Islam and I don't pretend to be.

The Muslims are trying to take over the ENTIRE PLANET. The Jews never attempted that. They never even claimed the right. They just wanted their own section of one area in the Middle East. Christ said the meek will inherit the earth. It wasn't a religious directive for Jews or Christians to take over the world.

You discount the Wahhabists' ability to take over the world and you are probably right, but that doesn't obviate the damage they can do in the meantime. They may finally lose the war, but they'll have hurt and killed a lot of innocent people before then, including millions of Muslims. Each of us can only hope we are not on the casualty list, which already contains the names of thousands of Americans and grows longer with each passing day.

Here is another link from the same website (another ex-Muslim) explaining that concept again.

http://islam-watch.org/SyedKamranMirza/my_house_is_mine.htm

A mullah, when it was suggested to him that he was an immigrant to the US and should honor its customs had this reply:

"This earth was created by Allah and this America also belonged to Allah. Muslims are the true followers (soldiers) of Allah; hence, they are the true and legitimate owner of this duniah or earth. Therefore, this America also belonged to Muslims."

This may be a minority viewpoint among Muslims but it is the source of a lot of suffering. Those Muslims who object to it need to make themselves known. They cannot continue to hide their light under a bushel.

Pat

p.s. Thank you. I appreciated your response.
