Ayat al-sayf refuted? What on earth is this?and refuted by whom? by you?...

For the readers of the the thread, ayat al-sayf is Q9:5 where Allah declares that Muslims must kill the polytheists unless they convert to islam. And who says that islam was not spread by the sword. This is a very important verse because we are told that chapter (sura) 9 is the last sura revealed and based on the doctrine of al-nasikh wa al-mansukh (the Allah changing his mind doctrine) ayat al-sayf or Q9:5 will abrogate earlier dispensations in same subject matter so ayat al-sayf will abrogate the Quranic pablum of the no compulsion in religion.

And as for Hamza Yusuf, how do you know what form of Arabic he speaks when you cannot speak Arabic?

And do you know how I was able to tell that you must be Paki/tablighee? You reapeat the same nonsense that we only hear from Pakis/tablighees. You are not even original.
