Moral zealot

Reader comment on item: Shoeless George Bush
in response to reader comment: and another thing

Submitted by Alexandra Hawiger (United States), Jul 4, 2007 at 08:38

Why is Mr. Bush doing stupid things on some major issues like immigration and now the Muslims? He is no Hitler, he is not stupid. Why, then? He is a moral zealot, he met his God when he needed help getting out from alcoholic stupor and this God tells him what to do. This God tells him to protect poor (illegal immigrants), to be kind to your enemy and turn the other cheek (Muslims), to support lofty issues of global warming, Aids etc etc.

Soon he will announce that our biggest enemy are the "filthy" rich and we need to have re-distribution of wealth.
He will abandon the party of "filthy rich" no matter that he himself ir regarded as a king of oil. The situation is like in the farce. Mr. Bush looks more and more like a Democrat, but Democrats will never like him no matter what.

In addition Mr. Bush lacks the popularity and charm of Mr. Reagan or Clinton, he does not have any communication skills and with all his morality appears sitting on a high throne of arrogance and ignorance.
Too bad
