Why islam?

Reader comment on item: Islamists in the Courtroom
in response to reader comment: be serious about religion- Vishvas

Submitted by G. Vishvas (Germany), Jun 10, 2007 at 03:37

No islam for me because:

1) Islam is an instrument of arabic ethno-fascism, hegemony and imperialism. I do not wish to be an underdog of arabs. I have my own non-arab identity to respect.

2) Islam has proved to be a totalitarian and fascist ideology. I do not wish to serve such an ideology.

3) The kuran contains contradictions and idiocies, but I have my god-given intelligence. This god is not the kuranic-arabic god allah.

4) I have no desire for the arab god allah's heaven or jannat. I am happy without the islamic jannat. Islam has contributed towards making the dunya bad and dangerous.

5) I do take religion seriously and hence I have to reject islam - because of its inherent and practised fascism.
