Well im glad you did take that time to comment on this topic. No big deal, its only your opinion. But yes, Christianity formed from Judaism. How it started was the jews that followed christ (pbuh) were mocked and called names and one of the names that stood out was the christ followers or christians. This term was used to identifiy the jews who followed isha (jesus pbuh). It was used in such a manner to disgrace or label and group of people. Just as the N word is used to label Afriacan Americans in America society.

But after times has passed the christians took and negative word and turn it into something positive and reformed the name. Kind of what the African Americans are trying to do with the N word in hip- hop but i just can't see that word ever turning positive in a billion years but that's another topic.

Anyway you mentioned that i may have some identity issues, what brought you to that idea? Please don't say because of my faith or which it stand for. Because you most likely don't even understand true islam as you said or pointed towards false Christianity finding reason to conduct evil acts through the bible. Again it is all interpretation and what a person perceives something to be or is which give them reason for doing certain acts.
