Reader comment on item: Islamists in the Courtroom
in response to reader comment: for Vishvas' knowledge

The demographic changes which have taken place under the rule of islam show clearly that non-muslims are slowly squeezed out.

Exterminating a people is something that can happen by various means. The method used by the nazis is not the only method.

The laws of islamic countries are such that the non-muslims realise that their chances are less and less and they move away (or convert to islam in order to escape insults and disadvantages).

If one hindu becomes a temporary chief justice then it does not mean hindus are well off in Pakistan.

The crucial question is whether a non-muslim can openly question islam's claims, history-writing and doctrines in an islam-dominated country, whether he can propagate his own religion with the same freedom and safety as a muslim in a muslim country or in a non-muslim country.

It is a paradox that a muslim tells me to read more books although he himself is fixated on his own kuran as the one and only book worth being read. I hope the muslims read more books - other than kuran - and not think that because there are a few good sentences in the kuran hence islam is good in real performance.

Your responses are typical of muslims who are absolutely sure of their own religion and its boasts and think those who criticise islam are fools or dimwits or lack knowledge. Almost everyone who criticises islam does so after studying this religion and its real history over many many years. I read three pakistani newspapers everyday since many years before making the conclusion that a good human society cannot be founded or maintained on the basis of islam and that Pakistan is a cogent proof of this fact.
