Your 100% correct. but what you dont know when you sign up the military, they do ask your faith to be able to acommodate your religious practices. Since joining the military i have met many muslim American soldiers, airmen, seamen and marines. Its great and they rank structure from the lowest private to high officers. Every muslim has his or her own reason for why they joined.

I met many muslims converts also that converted during there military careers. Some chose to get out, many stayed. My check on it is this I AM AN AMERICAN BORN MUSLIM SOLDIER AND AS A MUSLIM I WILL ONLY FIGHT ACCORDING TO THE KORAN FOR THREE REASONS. 1. MY HOME IS THREATHEN 2. MY FAMILY 3. MY GOVERNMENT AND LIFESTYLE. 911 WAS A THREAT TO MY FAITH, WAY OF LIFE COUNTRY AND FAMILY. ITS MY CALLING TO DEFEND MY COUNTRY IN THE NAME OF ALLAH(G-D) AND FIGHT JIHAD(STRUGGLE) AGAINST ITS ENEMIES.
