Free Bee:

You write "Reminds me of a verse in the Holy Quran: "O Muslims the Yahood and the Disbelievers will never be pleased with you unless you become like them...." So, let me say from the top of my voice: We the Muslims will NEVER EVER become like YOU !!".

According to Islam, when a person living in a non-muslim country becomes a muslim, he should move to an islamic country as soon as possible. A muslim cannot even visit a non-muslim country except for a short-term business or government assignment, and must move to the muslim country as soon as the business or assignment is over. A muslim cannot move/immigrate to a non-muslim country, and cannot even visit a non-muslim country, even for a vacation.

So, muslims don't want to be like us. Great. You can achieve that only by moving to a muslim country and muslims not immigrating to non-muslim countries at all. So, when can we expect muslims to follow the dictates of Islam?
