Courtesy and honour Islamic style

Free bee, like a typical Muslim you make a claim, but do not substantiate it. Let us take examples from your holy of holies, the Koran. You recall that verse which calls kafirs unclean. Strange way of teaching courtesy and honor even towards enemies. Also recall that notorious verse which asks Muslims not to befriend Yahoods and Christians. And how about that even more notorious verse asking Muslims to impose the humiliation tax jiziya on people of the book. You must read about how your scholars went about interpreting this particular verse ,discussing in detail how when the people of the book come to pay this tax they should be humiliated. If this is what Allah wished then how could your Prophet do otherwise. That would be disobedience of Allah. (9:28, 3:28)

The hadises are a rich source for the 'courtesy and honour' that Muslims are expected to show the enemies of Islam. They are usually honoured with Islam, failing which they are honoured with death. All those poets and writers who were considered enemies of Islam (the Prophet) were honoured with death. His followers even now honour the enemies of Islam, like Rushdie, Farag Foda, Theo Van Gogh and others with death. Since hadises are conveniently dismissed as unreliable when you don't like its implications I will only mention in passing one I remember which is a paradigm for Muslim attitudes towards kafirs. I cannot recall the volume and number but it goes like this: If you meet an unbeliever on a narrow path don't give way but try and push him off the road.

Free bee you wrote:"Furthermore, As citizens of this country, the Muslims have the full right to SUE any individual or organization who writes Bogus stuff against Muslims/Islam."

Muslims claim rights and get it too in infidel countries. They can build mosques, preach Islam become presidents and judges in kafir countries. But what rights do kafirs have in Islamic countries? Kafirs cannot preach their religion in them, build temples and churches in most and are second class citizens having lesser rights than Muslims. Tell us, free bee, who shows courtesy and honour to their enemies?

Another example of Muslim courtesy towards enemies is the Pact of Omar. Please read it, it is available on the Internet. Islamic 'courtesy and honour' is written all over it.

Kafirs have gone beyond your seventh century war ideology. We show consideration and honour for other beliefs even if that belief wants to overcome and dishonour us. Yes, we know, as long as you are Muslims you will NEVER EVER be like us.
