Christ Jesus - Not a Stick Caricature - Instead A Savior with a Rod

in response to reader comment: Jesus - a stickman?

And yet enough remains that you find the need to be cynical of Him. Did you arrive at that conclusion by a course of your own logic; or is the influences of another seen here?

A different bio-sketch:

Was born in Bethlehem to a woman who had not yet been physically intimate with a man…..

…never married…. baptized to fulfill a requirement of righteousness ….went into the desert… to commune with His Father……returned to preach the Gospel, perform miracles and eventually sent to death by the Roman Procurator at the request of the Jewish authorities…...

He died saying, "my Father, my Father, why have you forsaken me," to fulfill the saying about Him in that He took our sins upon Him, to provide eternal life to whom of His followers have believed in Him in faith…...

Caused enough of a issue for the Jewish rulers of the time to begin the lie about Him today that even the Muslim religion elite seems comfortable to repeat………. had to be of some import or there would have been no reason for the Islamic Prophet to even mention Him………

Is mentioned in enough extra-Biblical sources to give reason for understanding that He at least lived…Josephus and others….

Was enough of a concern for the Caliphate to wall up the eastern entrance of Mt. Moriah to prevent a return as it is promised……..

And enough of the Old Testament establishes His identity that the Jewish rulers found it necessary to ask Him outright if He was indeed, the Messiah; the New Testament portion that was written by the Jewish convert Paul had to have been written before the destruction of the Jewish Temple (Mt Moriah), since Paul was executed three years prior…….

A stick character…..? Maybe to the unbelieving and uncaring, some of whom have called Him worse. But if someone has even the remotest idea that one day all of humanity will face Him in belief or unbelief, I have taken the necessary steps to be on His side, for no one alive on this side of death has come back from the dead to be able to refute and rebuke His statement about what happens after we die.
