Funny then history doesn't support

Just take one example of WW1 - christian pope head of Catholocism supported mass murder of jews. Its only when he found no one's ass was save. Current pope was hitlers youth.

We could go on even looking at Bush and Blair for example - both catholics both motivated by religion to kill Iraqi's. More ppl have been killed in name of christendom then anyother religion. Or are ever likely to.
