Sorry it was a typo and it should be mystical

>all options would be a great relief to Muslims and non-Muslims. I agree that the whole system is indeed "damned" and damning. As I mentioned before, the Turkish Directorate of Religious Affairs was recently busy reversing the abrogation doctrine so that Meccan verses abrogate Medina verses.

Islam is the religion of the Hijazi Arabs and the turks can say anything they want to say but any changes have to come from the source of islam and that is Arabia and not Turkey and this will never happen

>This is a major break,

Not even close

>and I wonder if it is not being sold to the imams as one big taqiye,

I agree with you but the same mullhas can read the same "authentic" sources that tell them a very different story and even if this works then what would you do with the following: Ayat al-sayf and ayat al-irhab and ayat al-jizya? and would it be kill the polytheists or no compulsion in religion and if it is no compulsion then what would they do with kill the polytheists? You see it will never work as long as you have the violence of ayat al-sayf

>because Islam is militarily weak in the world, as Mohammed was in Mecca. Wait until they all migrate!

Good point

>They can do this with some effectiveness because all of the imams, practically, are on the Government payroll, and the general secularism of Turkish culture makes it a popular move.

I guess we have to wait and see
