If you read "islam is bad" all you life. You will believe it. That is called brainwashing. Effective propaganda. True scholarship is if you had actaully looked. As you ur self say you haven't.

Shriah Law is a miracle of Islam - not a single commentor on this site knows 2 things about it. Sadly not even Dr. Pipes.

Jurisprudence although a lot lot simpler for man made law is extremely complex. It involves a multitude of different science of Law, Language, Logic - esp. analogous reasoning, Theology, Philosophy etc. it take

But for complex system of law - like Sharaih Law - that has 12 sources - is hugely complex - and is an outstanding achievement of Muslim Scholars.Forget looking at Shariah - try looking at Western Jurisprudence - then at compare with Islam.

Mark Durie? He isnt even a scholar big enough to begin to understand .....
