Sorry it will not work this way because the nasty stuff in the Qur'an abrogates the less nasty stuff (so ayat al-sayf or the infamous Q9:5 abrogates the "no compulsion" or Q2:256) and more significant is that the islamic historical tradition is so vast that you are can find (in the words of Patricia Crone) the A but not the A and only Allahu a3lam (only Allah knows) to just about any issue and as I have stated before that as per some Muslim mullah in London that Muhammad was a Monarchist and he is supposed to have some "authentic" sources to support his point of view! Go figure. Which means that the only way out is to dismantle the whole damn thing and this is what I believe will happen and we will be left with only mythical islam or Sufi Islam
