Re-interperate the Q'ran???

I agree with you on most points. However; do you really think 're-interpretation' of their 'holy' writings is realistic? I'm not inclined to think that the radicals will be so inclined as to think or behave any less than have been. They don't think or behave in rational, humane, or sensible terms. The only thing a jihadist understands is a bullet between the eyes. Yes, sharia law must be stopped, but to think or expect a re-interpretation will change them is a bit....well, naive wouldn't you say??? It makes for nice scholarly talk in the halls of academia, but I don't think it will change them at all.
