Same pattern in Europe

If you study the history of collaboration in Europe during the Nazi period you will see the same pattern. Academics tend to turn against their own people. For some reason they can not control their own intelligence or they consider patriottism as something for the ordinary, less intelligent people. Even now, after this period they are in the first rows of anti-Americanism and anti-Israel. I think you will see the same in the former Soviet satellite countries.
